The iPad will be a great way to watch TV shows. But people who are used to watching lots of free or cheap top-tier TV programs via the Web won't get the same experience on the iPad this weekend.
Theetworks will stream their TV shows over the Internet with commercial breaks, similar to on their existing Web sites. CBS plans to stream episodes of TV.
